Okay, so to keep my promise, I am posting some of the pictures and some that are new…
This one has a story…At the time this picture was taken, he was not liking being on his tummy (he is very slowly learning that he can roll himself back over), but if you wear him out enough, he passes out that way and doesn’t care. He fell asleep sucking on his finger, not his binky. This has happened a few times. Now when he wakes up in the morning, he rolls over and talks to himself for a little bit until I come in and get him. Cute.
Although today, while I was on the phone with Emily and Avery was ‘taking a nap in his crib’ (we got back from dropping off Dave and Todd’s dry cleaning and he was dead asleep, asleep enough for me to take him out of his carseat without waking him up and as soon as he hit the crib mattress, he woke up). I was hearing a weird noise over the monitor and wondered what it was. (Background – our crib has a fold-down front because I am short) I figured out that he was kicking the front of his crib, making the front part go up and smack down (thus making the banging noise). Funny little boy.
Thanks for the piano Grandma and Grandpa B, he loves it
Another story…He loves being in his exersaucer, and he really loves chewing on the flag. The other day, I took him out of it to feed him and my arm brushed the flag…it was soaking wet! This was at noon. When Todd came home (at 6!) it was still really wet. There was that much drool in it!!
I’m proud of this first picture; I took it while holding him and it came out that good…
It was negative 800 degrees today, but I had to bring Dave and Todd’s clothes to the cleaners, so I had to bring Avery out. I bundled him up all nice and warm and went in to the bathroom mirror to show him how cute he looked with his hood up and he started giggling. I had to get a shot of him in his little jacket. I put him in the car seat and was shocked to see Audrey (his cousin). He is the spitting image of a few different people in the family…Audrey, Daddy and Ben (and maybe there is some of me at times too – I hope ‘cuz he’s cute).
Well, he just woke up from his nap, so I should go…I’ll post more stories later.
Wonderful pictures. Whenever I’m having a really crappy day here at work, I just go on the web and look at this little guy and his big smiles and makes my day a little better. You all stay healthy, happy, and warm – and, that house you’re looking for – better be REALLY BIG to hold all those little boy toys!!!!
Love you all,
Aunt Joanne
Aww….I miss you guys.
